This app will not run under IOS 5, it loads then dies returning you to the home screen .... useless.

Keeps crashing and makes the app unusable

I am a huge fan of newstalk radio and like to tune in when I am walking about going from from A to B. Until now I had used the TuneIn app. When I saw there was a newstalk app I was very excited as the UI looked nice and slick. Sadly that feeling dissolved into anger and frustration. First off the app starts playing the station as soon as you launch which is a tad annoying before I have even made my selection. The app is prone to crashing a lot. The player controls have very small tap area. Dragging to a specific part of a podcast is almost impossible and super buggy. I mainly wanted to listen to the Off the Ball podcasts and the option to download them seemed great but is once again super buggy and crashes the app. Even when you do complete the download you might as well be streaming as I could not listen to the download offline. Finally as you go deeper into the architecture of the app a back button appears right beside the curtain nav leading to constant misclicks. This app could be great if they fix the bugs but right now its not a great app.

Confusing interface and nothing but the live show plays

Ive been listening to this station for a year or so through a world radio app, but it took some time to go through all the "tings" to get it started. If your a fan of newstalk, this app is a no-brainer. One touch to play in background..nice. One touch to email the show your listening to, sweet. Good job lads, keep up the good work.

Great station now supported by terrific app. Archive system is brilliant. Now I can listen to Off the Ball whenever I want.

Latest build has an issue, live stream is not playing. Archives are working ok.

Previous version on iPad was good and usable. I was a big fan .. Current version unusable 1. Auto play of live ... Even plays over a selected podcast or previous show. You have to manually stop the live feed. 2. All podcasts , previous shows auto repeat .. If you do as I do and listen to shows as you sleep this is terrible. 3. Certain sub categorys of shows display the previous sub categories list. Eg podcast of murphs country pages is actually the football show Cant understand why a company would launch an app that had so many fundamental issues and massive bugs. makes no sense. Please fix as soon as possible .... Update: per 3.0.1 update these issues seem resolved. Thanks for the quick fixes.

Errors and a podcast UI that gives you little to indicate why it doesnt play. Super frustrating. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.

Update is required. Crashes in show playback section. Love the app though!

You need to sort this out. Have deleted this app but will check back for new one in future

I love the app but the listen back dates are at least a week back sometimes longer. You would think the Irish could fix.

Used to love this app for the podcasts, now it crashes when trying to listen to anything other than the live stream. Please fix it.

Now that eoin mcdevitt and ken early are gone, your station has nothing worth listening to. Off the ball went from a 10 to a zero. I hope you go out of business. iPhone owners, dont download this app. You wont find any good programs on this station.

This app became one of my favorite

I was expecting just an update but this is so slick on my iPad. Thank you Newstalk

When you download a show with multiple parts it only allows you to listen to part 1 (usually the first half hour). The previous app was much better for downloads and easier to use. Plus it requires you to sign up, to download more than 1 podcast
